Even as believers, sometimes in the midst of the wrongs and suffering we see in the world, we look around, and hope to see the presence of God in our lives, and in the world around us. Back in graduate school I had a professor that introduced an acronym I hadn’t given much thought to, “BGO”, which stands for “Blinding Glimpse of the Obvious.” It’s a term that simply means, sometimes the truth, an answer, or something you’re looking for is right in front of you. We’ve all done it, searching for something that’s right in front of us the whole time, and for some reason you simply don’t see it, until you do.
The same may be said for many, with the presence of God. If we open our eyes, we won’t have to look far to find evidence of God’s presence, simply look to the world around us with open eyes, and see the wonders and beauty of God’s creation, it’s all around. Sometimes that beauty is surrounded by thorns, such as the beautiful cactus blossoms, surrounded by thorns. Perhaps because of thorns, the pain and suffering we experience in our lives, living in this sin filled world, we have become blinded and numb to the many good things, and of all the beauty the Lord has placed all around us, for enjoyment, if we will open our eyes, and see.
“Blessed is that man who has done away with chance, who never speaks of luck, but believes that from the least even to the greatest, all things are ordained of the Lord. We dare not leave out the least event! The creeping of an aphid upon a rosebud is as surely arranged by the decree of Providence as the march of a pestilence through a nation. Believe this, for if the least is omitted from the supreme government, so may the next be, and the next, until nothing is left in the Divine hands. There is no place for chance, since God fills all things.” C. Spurgeon 1891.
God is present over all things, and is willing to accept all who will believe in Him, accept His offer of Salvation, He will always, from that time forward be by their side.
As is said in Revelation 21:3, concerning the one thousand year reign of Christ on the Earth, “And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.”

Thank you God for all the blessings you bestow upon us. God help us to open our eyes and see your presence in this world, to appreciate even the small things in our lives that make up your great works; for nothing that is, exists by chance. You are truly a magnificent God, and we are all truly blessed.

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS
PRAY FOR DEBBIE BELL AND HER HUSBAND FRED: She's been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer.
PRAY/PRAISE FOR CHUM: Chum has been doing okay. He will get a chest x-ray next week to follow-up on the lung cancer. They will follow-up with x-rays for the next few months, then he will have a CT Scan of the chest and MRI of the brain in another couple of months. Right now he is stable. Still trying to get his strength back from the chemo, etc., but he's doing ok. Thank God.
PRAY: Michele was doing great, but now she just found out that the cancer has spread to the other side of the brain. She will be going in for full brain radiation. She's already had five brain surgeries. So she needs more prayers. We haven't stopped praying, but now she needs extra prayer.
PRAY FOR: Eric for his work situation. His eyes are getting better, but his ears are getting worse. Please continue to pray.
PRAY: We would always keep the pulpit of the Community Christian Church Sacred and free from the Profane.
PRAY FOR: Pastor Bill and the Leadership team of the Community Christian Church of Valley Farms to maintain a Separation between the Profane ( the Secular) and the Pure (the Spiritual) ; between the Holy and the Unholy; protecting the Sanctity and Purity of the Pulpit as the place where the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD is PROCLAIMED!
PRAY FOR: The ones in our church who are caught up in the sin of alcohol (drinking), and tobacco (smoking), that they would be released from Satan's snare.
PRAY/ PRAISE: For Assistant Pastor Todd, as he continues with his studies into the Master's of Divinity program at Seminary. Give him wisdom Lord!
PRAY FOR: Wisdom for our President and his joint chiefs as they consider Syria and their Russian threat!
PRAISE THE LORD: For the His sure PRESCRIPTION for fixing any discouragement. It is The Lord Jesus, as He acts through our friends and loved ones-Thank you Lord for your love.
PRAY FOR: The many in Arizona, in and around Valley Farms who are trapped in the ungodly cult of Mormonism and have turned their back on the true Jesus, and there-fore are not saved, and are on their way to HELL!
PRAY FOR: The True Church of Jesus Christ (NOT THE MORMONS) TO NOT give in to the pressure from the world for Spiritual Correctness, ( that we would confront the make-believer who claims to be believers with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ). The Lord has not given a License to Sin!
PRAY FOR: OUR PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT, THEY NEED THE LORD'S HELP!!
PRAY THAT: All who are attending the Community Christian Church, as well as all who have ever attended- The Lord Jesus knows who you are, and He knows your needs. We pray that He will meet your every need. If your need is Salvation, and you have not yet accepted the Lord's invitation to join His family of believers by being born again, I pray that today will be the day you make that decision..
PRAY THAT: All who claim know Jesus as Lord and Savior would start to live as if He is Real in their lives, and will be willing to pay the one debt we owe for our Salvation; that is the debt of LOVE (Romans 13:8)!
PRAY THAT: All men who are called into the pastorate would see the need to study to gain advanced Training into a deeper and broader understanding of the LORD JESUS CHRIST & the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 2:15)
PRAY FOR: Pastor Bill as he teaches God's Word (1 Timothy 2:2). Also that the congregation would encourage him, and continue to love and encourage one another ( John 13:34).

Yes, we do like these Revelation studies. We are having some high water problems this spring, but I guess we have this almost every spring. Thanks for the teaching.
