2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

December 20

MAY WE OPEN OUR EARS AND HEAR THE WONDERFUL WORDS OF ALMIGHTY GOD!  JESUS SAID; “WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED IN MY NAME (MATTHEW 18:20) THERE I AM WITH THEM.” I BELIEVE I AM STANDING IN GREAT COMPANY WHEN I MAKE THAT VERY SAME COMMITMENT TO YOU. AS LONG AS TWO OR MORE ARE HERE AT THE COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH, STANDING FIRMLY WITH ME, SEEKING TO KNOW THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD, THE WORD BEING TAUGHT WITHOUT COMPROMISE, LORD WILLING, I WILL BE HERE.  Pastor Bill

NOTE:  Hearing from you every two or three weeks, would let us know you want to continue receiving our newsletter.

FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOUR HOUSE

MERRY CHRISTMAS

NEWS FROM THE PERRY'S

As the year 2015 ends, here we are once more sitting near the fireplace making the most of the moment, with another year before us, and I might add, with great expectations. as we pause for time to give thanks to Him for His many, many blessings.

The years seem to go by faster each year. This year we are just grateful to be alive. Pastor Bill has developed an allergy to the dust found here in the valley, which has become a bit of a challenge. We’ve found spending time in the Arizona high-lands may be the only remedy needed for this malady.  The Lord is blessing us as we serve the church in Valley Farms, once more we have seen some come into fellowship, and some leave. Over all, we are excited with the valley attendance, as well as the world-wide viewings, that have reached a weekly average of 1,600.

In April/May of this year we were blessed to be able to take a 30 day round trip tour through the Panama Canal, stopping in Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Costa Rica and Colombia South America. Making acquaintance with a few, yet ministering to many. Avery relaxing, Blessed cruise. In September we flew to Wisconsin for a visit with Victor and Carol, Kathy’s sister and brother-in-law. It was in October, we were blessed with a visit by our son Eric, from New Jersey.

In June, we made a trip back to Indiana to participate in the graduation at Newburgh Seminary and College of the Bible. It was a joy to re-visit Glenn & Carole Mollette, and other friends, and meet the many graduates of Newburgh. On our way back home to Arizona, we stopped by northern Minnesota, for a great visit with Dal & Carrie King, at their home in Browerville. We also stopped by Parker, CO for a few days with Ronnie, Jennifer and Kiley. We are now starting to get excited, anticipating our new year. In the Lord, life is always very exciting.

This year we continued to be involved with helping at the “The Hope Women’s Center”. This year we are serving chapel service once a month at the Logos Christian School in Casa Grande. Kathy has been elected to the School Board in Coolidge.  It is such a blessing to see Todd Ovitt taking more responsibility at the church, as he is taking the pulpit once a quarter. We are thanking the Lord daily for him. We continue to be humbled, yet excited, that the Lord would entrust us with the responsibility and joy of pastoring the Community Christian Church here in Valley Farms, Thank you Jesus!

This year Pastor Bill had his 2nd book published, we are excited about that, as both his and Kathy’s books from last year are doing well, so we continue to work at our writing as the Lord allows. We are now getting ready for Christmas and the New Year. Looking forward to what the Lord has for us, what an exciting time to be living, to be able to witness God’s work first hand in the affairs of men and women, here in the Southwest, and throughout the world, knowing that His return for His Church could be any moment. Blessed be the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In January 2015, Kathy was sworn in as a member of the school board for the city of Coolidge’s “Unified School District”.  It is still our greatest JOY this time of the year to welcome back to Arizona our returning “Snow Bird” friends, WELCOME BACK FRIENDS!

As we approach the end of the year, and move into 2016, we are looking forward to getting to know our church friends in a deeper way, as we continue to “Preach the Word; WITHOUT COMPROMISE.” It has been truly a full year for us as the Lord continues to use us, as we make ourselves fully available to His direction, in order that He may use us in whatever way He sees fit. We are in His hands!

Pray that we may forever keep in mind that Jesus Christ is the REASON FOR THE SEASON! Also that we are sure to KEEP THE MAIN THING, THE MAIN THING, and teach the Word of God Without Compromise!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

  16. It’s been a couple of busy and enjoyable days with family. Tonight Joe and I are enjoying the sight of the beautiful full moon and remembering just why we celebrate Christmas. As the hustle and bustle winds down we tend to think of friends and family and you came to mind. We did so enjoy our meals and conversation with you.

Blessing of the season and heartfelt prayers for peace.
