2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

Thank you for taking the time to view our blog;we look forward to reading your comments. DVDs of our services are available upon request. We covet your prayers and friendship. In His Service and For His Glory, Pastor Bill & Kathy ...
"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS

NEW Pray for Gregory Martinez:  George's brother; Greg is in hospice care now.  Pray for peace and comfort.

NEW: Pray for Pastor Bill and Kathy: As they make the 150-mile round trips to and from Phoenix; to attend to Eric's medical and other various needs.

NEW Praise and Prayer for George and Valerie: They are getting better.  Praise the Lord. Please continue to pray.

NEW  Pray for Pastor Bill and Kathy's Son Eric:  Eric seems to have had a set back and is in ICU in critical condition at the Mayo Hospital in Phoenix.  Thank you for your continued prayer.

Praise for:  Dal and Carrie who had a nice visit with family during the Thanksgiving holidays.

Pray for: Our Missionaries, as they labor for the Lord.

Pray that: It would be understood, that alone, as an individual, you are not the Church, not Until We, as Believers, Gather Together in His Name, as a Congregation, do we become a Church; the Bride of Christ! COME TO CHURCH! Hebrews 10: 24-25.

PRAY: THAT FEAR WOULD SUBSIDE IN EQUAL PROPORTION TO OUR TRUST IN GOD. TO FEAR NOT!  FEAR ONLY THE LORD GOD; THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO FEAR. TRUSTING IN HIM!

PRAY FOR: Todd (health and personal matters). Praise the Lord for Todd getting connected with Mayo!

PRAY FOR: The many that are unsaved, in and around Valley Farms. Rebuke, and hold back the ungodly cult of Mormonism. These people who have turned their backs on the true Jesus, and there-fore are by no means saved, but are on their way to an Eternity in HELL!

PRAY FOR: Salvation for OUR PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT.

PRAY THAT: All who claim to know Jesus as Lord and Savior would start to live as if He is Real in their lives and will be willing to pay the one debt, we all owe for our Salvation; that is the debt of LOVE to the Lord Jesus (Romans 13:8)!

PRAY FOR ALL CONCERNED: As Pastor Bill teaches God's Word (1 Timothy 2:2). As he teaches the Truth of God's word and rebukes all false gospels. Pray that many would respond to the Truth of God's Word in love and truth.

FYI

SALVATION: Not only to Eternity in Heaven, but from Eternity in Hell! You MUST, first of all: Humble yourself and Admit You Are a Sinner in Need of a Savior:

* Mark 1:15 "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

•James 2:10 “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.”

•Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

•Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Accept God’s Love through the/Sacrifice in His Son Jesus
•Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Turn to God in Repentance
•Acts 20:21 “solemnly testifying to both Jews and Greeks of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Trust the Fullness Jesus Christ!
•Romans 10:9 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;"

•Romans 10:13 “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

•Romans 10:14 “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?"

•Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ."

•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you search for Me with all your (being) heart.”

It may not be easy to give up your old sinful ways, and turn in faith to Jesus Christ; but it is the ONLY way to SALVATION, AND IT IS WORTH IT!

CALL UPON (THE FULLNESS OF) THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!

Dr. William Perry is a prolific writer of outstanding books. His titles for Newburgh Press thus far are Christians Helping Christians, Christian Counseling for the 21st Century and Theology for the 21st Century. Each book is a must for every reader of solid Christian material.
I am happy to endorse Dr. Perry’s latest treasure, “A Journey Through The Gospels.” Every student and preacher/teacher of the Bible needs this book for the desk or the bedside table. You will enjoy reading insights  and valuable lessons that many casual readers of the Bible will miss.

While this book is not lengthy you will find a delightful study of each gospel that will make you appreciate the wonderful gospel stories and love Jesus even more.

  1. Pastor and Kathy,

The Lord is amazing. I'm so sorry you had to go through that critical situation with Eric Friday, and that he is continuing to deal with such a harsh disease. I am thankful for a good outcome with that crisis, and that there were some positives that occurred overall with his treatment and progress.

He is definitely in the best hands.
    I am continuing in prayer.

I plan to get out a little Saturday so maybe I'll run across your path...but if not, I look forward to seeing you at church..
If I can be of any help, please let me know.

May the Lord encourage you much and greatly bless your day,

  2. I'll be prayerfully awaiting news from the meeting. I'll keep my phone with me.

I mentioned Eric again at my church for prayer.

    Love,

  4. Pastor Bill and Kathy,

We want to thank you for your faithful prayers this week.

We will continue to pray for Eric and you two. Knowing you will be making long trips to visit him, we will pray for you.

The prayer list was long today. There is much to pray for; even so, we will pray for all you mentioned. This includes prayers for Todd.

Thank you for praying for Greg. I called his home and was told he is having an “unexpected good day.” I believe the Lord is answering prayers.

Today’s sermon was important. God is Good. I am reminded that Jesus is Christ who was crucified. He was present before Genesis 1:1 and throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament. He was and is and is to come. Faith in Christ is our only hope.

We will pray for God’s will for both of you this week.

    George and Valerie

  6. Yes! AMEN' to that! God is in control!

I will continue to pray. I have been wondering about Eric's quality of life. It is so painful for the living to see their loved ones slipping away. I'm so glad you could be there for him and for us to keep track of his illness. We will be praying for the best outcome for Eric.

  7. Our hearts go out for you. I can't imagine how hard that would be to lose a child. Prayer is the only and best thing we can do. Love in Christ, Dal and Carrie

  8. Thank you for the update. God is in control and I believe in miracles!
We love you all so much and are praying for God’s will at this time. We definitely don’t want him to suffer. We love you all very much and have been in constant prayer about this situation and for your safety driving back and forth.

I’m so so sorry to hear that Eric has died. I’m glad he’s no longer in pain. He didn’t deserve any of the suffering he’s been through. Thank God for rescuing him.

    I love you all.
I’m so glad Jim is there with you. We love you all. Praying for comfort.

    Love

  13. Hello PB,

I agree that Families should worship together.

Bill I thank you for sharing with us. I am so thankful we can share
with others the love of God. I wish we didn't have a protesting nature
that all too often gets in our way.

PB your letter of Eric's homecoming just reached me and our Prayers are
    with you and Kathy.

  14. Brother Bill and Kathy,

Another child is home with his loving heavenly Father!

I’ve always heard it said that it is harder for parents to loose a child because the “natural” order is changed. May the LORD give you grace and comfort.

    Tears are expected—

As I write this the song playing is “Even in the Valley” by His Own….even in the valley GOD IS GOOD!!!

    With Prayers,

  17. So sorry to hear. I hope Eric is at peace now. I'm sure it is hard. Terrie and I called and talked to him shortly before he passed. The nurse said his eyes were fluttering while we talked. I hope he heard our hopes and prayers for him. I will pray for healing for you and all the family. At least the struggle for Eric is at an end. Peace and love to you and Kathy. I'm glad you could be there for him in his time of need. I'm sure he was grateful.
