Remember: If we are Christians, we have a New Nature that is Constrained by the Truth of Scripture!
Knowing that- Truth is always Truth, from Eternity past, through Eternity Future.
SO, REMEMBER! If it's True, it's NOT NEW- If it's New it's NOT TRUE!

Dr. William Perry is a prolific writer of outstanding books. His titles for Newburgh Press thus far are Christians Helping Christians, Christian Counseling for the 21st Century and Theology for the 21st Century. Each book is a must for every reader of solid Christian material.
I am happy to endorse Dr. Perry’s latest treasure, “A Journey Through The Gospels.” Every student and preacher/teacher of the Bible needs this book for the desk or the bedside table. You will enjoy reading insights and valuable lessons that many casual readers of the Bible will miss.
While this book is not lengthy you will find a delightful study of each gospel that will make you appreciate the wonderful gospel stories and love Jesus even more.To God be the glory!Dr. Glenn Mollette, PresidentNewburgh Theological SeminaryNewburgh, Indiana

Pastor and Kathy,
ReplyDeleteThe Lord is amazing. I'm so sorry you had to go through that critical situation with Eric Friday, and that he is continuing to deal with such a harsh disease. I am thankful for a good outcome with that crisis, and that there were some positives that occurred overall with his treatment and progress.
He is definitely in the best hands.
I am continuing in prayer.
I plan to get out a little Saturday so maybe I'll run across your path...but if not, I look forward to seeing you at church..
If I can be of any help, please let me know.
May the Lord encourage you much and greatly bless your day,
I'll be prayerfully awaiting news from the meeting. I'll keep my phone with me.
ReplyDeleteI mentioned Eric again at my church for prayer.
Love,
Jenny
Ok, thanks for the info. We’ll be prayerfully waiting the results of the meeting!
ReplyDeletePastor Bill and Kathy,
ReplyDeleteWe want to thank you for your faithful prayers this week.
We will continue to pray for Eric and you two. Knowing you will be making long trips to visit him, we will pray for you.
The prayer list was long today. There is much to pray for; even so, we will pray for all you mentioned. This includes prayers for Todd.
Thank you for praying for Greg. I called his home and was told he is having an “unexpected good day.” I believe the Lord is answering prayers.
Today’s sermon was important. God is Good. I am reminded that Jesus is Christ who was crucified. He was present before Genesis 1:1 and throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament. He was and is and is to come. Faith in Christ is our only hope.
We will pray for God’s will for both of you this week.
George and Valerie
Will continue praying for Eric and the family. God is in control.
ReplyDeleteYes! AMEN' to that! God is in control!
ReplyDeleteI will continue to pray. I have been wondering about Eric's quality of life. It is so painful for the living to see their loved ones slipping away. I'm so glad you could be there for him and for us to keep track of his illness. We will be praying for the best outcome for Eric.
Our hearts go out for you. I can't imagine how hard that would be to lose a child. Prayer is the only and best thing we can do. Love in Christ, Dal and Carrie
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update. God is in control and I believe in miracles!
ReplyDeleteWe love you all so much and are praying for God’s will at this time. We definitely don’t want him to suffer. We love you all very much and have been in constant prayer about this situation and for your safety driving back and forth.
I’m so so sorry to hear that Eric has died. I’m glad he’s no longer in pain. He didn’t deserve any of the suffering he’s been through. Thank God for rescuing him.
I love you all.
I’m so glad Jim is there with you. We love you all. Praying for comfort.
Love
Jenny and Ronnie
I am so, so sorry to hear that devastating news. In prayer for your family.
ReplyDeleteBob and Barb
Thank you for the update. Praying for whatever is best for Eric and for y’all too.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the kids made it. Hope Eric knew they were there. Glad Jim is there for you. Again sending extra prayers for Eric and for y’all also.
Brother and friend, you and your family are in my prayers. I have lost so much of my family over the past couple of years, I know the pain, but losing a son, I can't imagine.
ReplyDeleteMay the Lord bring you comfort and strength.
DW
Oh no!!! I'm so sorry. Praying for Eric and you all!! Love you!!
ReplyDeleteHello PB,
ReplyDeleteI agree that Families should worship together.
Bill I thank you for sharing with us. I am so thankful we can share
with others the love of God. I wish we didn't have a protesting nature
that all too often gets in our way.
PB your letter of Eric's homecoming just reached me and our Prayers are
with you and Kathy.
Brother Bill and Kathy,
ReplyDeleteAnother child is home with his loving heavenly Father!
I’ve always heard it said that it is harder for parents to loose a child because the “natural” order is changed. May the LORD give you grace and comfort.
Tears are expected—
As I write this the song playing is “Even in the Valley” by His Own….even in the valley GOD IS GOOD!!!
With Prayers,
Jeannette Joyner
So very very sorry to hear
ReplyDeletePrayers now for comfort of Christ
Glenn
I know Eric is home with the good Lord!! God would never pass up such a good person. He will always live on within our hearts. No more suffering for him. I’m so glad Jim and the kids are with y’all. If you need anything, please let us know. Sending prayers and love to all of you 🙏❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear. I hope Eric is at peace now. I'm sure it is hard. Terrie and I called and talked to him shortly before he passed. The nurse said his eyes were fluttering while we talked. I hope he heard our hopes and prayers for him. I will pray for healing for you and all the family. At least the struggle for Eric is at an end. Peace and love to you and Kathy. I'm glad you could be there for him in his time of need. I'm sure he was grateful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so very sorry. Sending you all so much love right now. Many prayers as you go through the grieving process. Faith in our Lord will get you through, but the hurt will be raw and real. Love you all so much.
ReplyDeleteArrietta and Michael
