Dr. William Perry is a prolific writer of outstanding books. His titles for Newburgh Press thus far are Christians Helping Christians, Christian Counseling for the 21st Century and Theology for the 21st Century. Each book is a must for every reader of solid Christian material.
I am happy to endorse Dr. Perry’s latest treasure, “A Journey Through The Gospels.” Every student and preacher/teacher of the Bible needs this book for the desk or the bedside table. You will enjoy reading insights and valuable lessons that many casual readers of the Bible will miss.
While this book is not lengthy you will find a delightful study of each gospel that will make you appreciate the wonderful gospel stories and love Jesus even more.To God be the glory!Dr. Glenn Mollette, PresidentNewburgh Theological SeminaryNewburgh, Indiana

Pastor Bill & Kathy,
ReplyDeleteValerie and I were busy from Friday to Yesterday. We are wiped out but we have good news.
I was able to see my Neurologist yesterday, My EEG was fine. We discussed making a second attempt at getting my healthcare's approval for the shots. In the meantime, he prescribed a medication that may give me some relief. I only take it at night because it causes severe drowsiness. I have a follow-up appointment in January. I finished my second round of anti-biotics for my ear and it seems like it is healing up really well.
Excellent sermon. We have never heard this passage taught this way, but it makes perfect sense.
May God continue to bless you both, and our church.
George and Valerie
A scam??? So, I guess scamming is a pretty old thing- I loved it, you sure know how to tell it like it is. Praise the Lord, you can't fool Jesus. He's the man!! And yes, He is also the only true God!! Wow, I sure learned a LOT this week.
ReplyDeleteA good message- I've been looking for your teaching messages, A friend told me to look you up; I'm glad I did.
ReplyDeleteOur son Eric is in the Mayo Hospital this morning in ICU in critical condition. Most of you know the situation and we thank you for your prayers. Please continue your prayers.
ReplyDeleteIn Christ's Love,
Pastor Bill and Kathy
I am sure you’ve both prayed and cried so much together. I’m crying as well bc I thought he was doing so much better. Just another mountain to climb and Kiley and I know he’s a strong man! Who can do it with the help of Jesus!
ReplyDeleteLove you all! Sorry all 3 of you are going through such a tough time during the holidays!
Love you all
Happy Thanksgiving to y’all!! I’m so sorry to hear about Eric. I pray for him every day but will increase my prayers. I’ll let the kids know too
ReplyDeleteWill be praying for Eric, thanks for letting me know.
ReplyDeleteBro Bill and Kathy,
ReplyDeleteJust said a prayer for Eric and for you both. Will continue to uphold you before the throne.
Know how difficult it is to have a “family emergency” on a holiday. May you be able to be thankful he is in a good hospital and getting good health care.
In God's Grace & Strength Alone
Jeannette Joyner
Sending many Prayers , please keep us updated . Love you all
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Eric is stable, I wasn’t expecting this to become a trip to the ICU for him, though. Is this all related to the Castleman disease? The way he reacted to this head bump is very concerning, I guess I never thought that it could end up being serious enough to put him back in ICU.
Very concerning. We will be praying.
Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Sending prayers and love!!
ReplyDeleteArrietta & Michael
I am praying for Eric
ReplyDeleteWill do, thanks for letting us know.
ReplyDeleteWill do, thanks for letting us know.
ReplyDeleteThey took a verse out of the Bible? Can they do that? It really sounds interesting, but a little confusing.
ReplyDeleteYes, family and friends are important. Thank God we have them.
ReplyDeleteAny update? Praying for you all and added him to our prayer list at church.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to call but wasn’t sure if you were still busy at the hospital.
I’m sure you have a lot going on.
We love you all so much.
Love you
Jenny
Just saw this (about Eric) and praying at this moment
ReplyDeleteGlenn
Good morning,
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord.
I am praying and believing. Looking forward to Sunday.
Todd
You got it. We will continue to pray for Eric. Love you all ♥️
ReplyDeleteWe are praying for Eric.
ReplyDeleteGod speed and God Bless 🙏
W/love,
Dwyer's
We will continue to pray. Love you
ReplyDeleteJenny
Yes, we will have to trust that, he’s (Eric) where he should be for treatment.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates.
Praying for you all.
Will keep praying for Eric and for y’all too. I know it’s hard on you too
ReplyDeleteThanks Dad, I feel a little better now, I’ll put a tick in the “Praise” column!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about the Mayo is they get answers, and you know what you’re dealing with. Not sure where the lung infection might have originated, or what allowed it to get into the bloodstream, but, they seem to have found something tangible that can be treated, and that is encouraging.
I’m also glad to hear Dr. Gaulin was personally involved in his care, that’s unique, not many places have doctors that are personally involved with their patients’ care out of the office. Very good to know.
Happy to see a glimmer of light here, they know what they’re doing, so we can pray God grant them wisdom to do what they need to do.
Thanks again!!
We continue to pray for Eric and for wisdom for his doctors and medical team.
ReplyDeleteWe are so sorry to hear that Eric is in critical condition in the ICU. We were expecting a more favorable result.
ReplyDeleteValerie and I will continue to pray for Eric. We will also pray for You and Kathy. We can’t imagine how you two are feeling.
In the Lord’s Hands. He’s in the Lord’s Hands. Let there be peace in this.
May the Lord Bless Him and Keep Him, in Jesus’ Name.
George and Valerie
I believe you covered it pretty well why that 4th verse was bracketed or removed. Very interesting that you picked up on the word for wind-spirit and angel being the same word. Thank you, Pastor Bill.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all the updates on Eric. Glad there is some good information. We will continue to pray.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the updates on Eric's condition. It is good to hear they have something to work with now. We continue to pray.
ReplyDeleteOk, thank you for the update. Will continue to pray. Still trusting God has him in the best place he could possibly be right now.
