… The Ministry Trip Continues…
As we continue out from North Dakota… the road stretches out mile after mile before us, as we are in awe of the beauty of this beautiful ranch country. Driving on through South Dakota and into…
Wyoming … it’s time for a break, as we pull into a rest area just outside of the town of Lusk. We take the time to stretch our legs, have a snack….
… and head on down the highway…crossing over into…
Colorado… and on into… … Denver.
In Denver we meet our daughter Jennifer, who is the morning news producer for channel 9 Denver… she gives us a tour…
…of the operation, starting with their outdoor setting…
…and moving onto some of the sets.
Bringing us back to her operating area, as news producer…(Far to many knobs, buttons, monitors and lights for me).
We are introduced to the news crew… as…
… she finishes up her morning… but I do what I do, and come up on her blind side with a “BOO!”
She finishes up and we follow her through the streets of Denver, …. on to…
… Home.
Waiting for us is Jen’s husband Ronnie and our Granddaughter Kiley.
Me and Ronnie having a nice conversation Kiley enjoying doing a craft
At Kiley’s school, we take care of some business. Kiley, making us breakfast…with a little help from her mom…
Eggs-potatoes- bacon- she is becoming a pretty good cook.
“It’s a walk in the park!” Near-by their house we spend some time, relaxing and just visiting…
…playing some fun games with family-LIFE IS GOOD!
Back at home, Kiley models a Bavarian style dress… shows us how much she’s learned on her guitar. She’s doing pretty good.
A great visit, but sad to say… it’s time to hit the road…AGAIN! We say good-by, and once more, head out…
…South, getting a good view of the snow-capped Rockies, as we head past Colorado Springs, and on toward New Mexico, and….to our home in…
ARIZONA…. Next week….HOME…
