Proverbs 29:2 “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”
VISION! Continued-Part Two!
How one receives the vision is far less important than our need to obtain it. “Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained…” Prov. 29:18a. Do you have a vision from the Lord? I know that many are called, and many do have a vision from the Lord. But, the question is, How do we respond when He gives that call, that vision, and the vision is so large, it is far beyond our ability to even consider on our own. This vision is so large that it requires gifts, skills, resources and dare I say, faith that you can’t even imagine having? What if the vision is so large that it has the potential of impacting a whole community, a whole town, far reaching into the far reaches of America, and even the world? Do you chalk it up to impossible and pray for a new vision, or seek the Lord with the question, “Lord! How do I increase my faith to match the vision You have given me”. More later!
COOLIDGE CHAMBER MEETING!
OUR SPEAKER WAS KIM RODRIGUEZ, BUSINESS REPRESENTATIVE AND EMPLOYMENT SERVICE AREA MANAGER FOR GILA AND PINAL COUNTIES. SHE SPOKE OF THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION IN OUR AREA WITH HOPES THAT IT WILL BE GETTING BETTER THROUGH THE COMPREHENSIVE ONE-STOP CENTER IN CASA GRANDE.TRIP TO SOUTHEAST ARIZONA
On our trip down into Southeast Arizona, we stopped for lunch at the Bisbee Breakfast Club , just south of Bisbee, in….Lowell, Arizona. We were surprised to find this to be a town of “Yesterday”. It almost felt like a time for a Greyhound bus trip.
It was a delight to find an Indian motor cycle (Made in Springfield, MA) setting in a display window, with an old Hudson Pick-up Truck parked at the curb.
We stopped by for a visit at the Valley Bible Church in Double Adobe- They have a fine pastor, Clint Highley We continue to keep him and his wife, Cindy, in our prayers.
We then…
stopped by the Chiricahua National Monument- for a little break, and some breath-taking views.
ARIZONA is a WONDERFUL STATE! “I LOVE YOU ARIZONA”.
At this point, we headed back home to Coolidge, to prepare for our Sunday Service.

If the church stood up and became attached to the Lord's body,
ReplyDeletewe would be a force in society instead of a farce.
We need to stop trying to be the head......... and leave that to Jesus.
