As the Senior Pastor of this church, called by God to oversee His Church in Valley Farms, it is my responsibility from God to seek the meekness of humility in obedience to Him as I care for, His little flock; To be God honoring; Saint loving; Reaching out to the lost; While Teaching His Word Without Compromise.
A POWERFUL TRUTH:
The Word of God is alive and Powerful! When truly heard, this Word is Powerful enough to awaken the spiritually dead. His Word, when accepted as Truth; will save men from their sin, therefore... “How can they hear without a preacher?” – Romans 10: 13-15.
Should you have any questions, feel free to talk with me.

IS THERE A BIBLICAL PRESCRIPTION TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN? YES! ONE, AND ONLY ONE. IT'S FOUND IN 2nd CHRONICLES 7:14; "IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND HEAL THEIR LAND."
THE ANSWER IS: TURN BACK TO THE LORD GOD-TO FAITH-FAMILY!
WHY REACH OUT AND MINISTER TO MEN?
- When a child is reached for Christ, 3.5% of the family will follow.
- When a mother is reached for Christ, 17% of her family will follow.
- When a father is reached for Christ, 93% of his family will follow. (Per the Heritage Foundation)
- THE LORD S CALLING FAITHFUL MEN TO LEAD THEIR FAMILIES!
******************************************************
As a pastor, as a minister called by God, I am to trust Him, to believe Him, to teach His Word; the Bible, in all Meekness, with Humility, yet, Boldly preach that every Word in the Bible is true; not merely only what I may want to be true; but, that every word is true; and teach it without compromise!
"How can they hear without a Preacher!"
We are Equals in the Eyes of God
“So the last will be first, and the first last.” (Matthew 20:16, CSB)
From the parable of the vineyard workers, Jesus sought to teach us we are equal in the eyes of the Lord, and no one will be favored over another. Earlier this week I saw a video on the internet, maybe you saw it too. It shows two small boys, maybe five years old, running towards each other on a city sidewalk, and embracing each other as dear friends. In our world filled with increasing racial, cultural, and class tensions so much can be learned from this amazing and simple display of love and acceptance. Here are two young boys, of two different races, running towards each other and hugging, dear friends without earthly differences, each were excited to see the other. We can learn a lot from this pure and simple act; two boys unaffected by any biased judgment that seem to be rampant throughout our society today. Two boys seeing each other only as friends, just as the Lord would have us all see each other. Many today, for whatever reason, lose sight of one important fact; those who have been chosen and accepted by Jesus Christ to follow Him as their Lord and Savior are all equal in the eyes of our Lord. Our earthly differences must not cloud our eyes, harden our hearts, or pollute our thinking towards each other; for doing so would be to put ourselves and our favor above that of the perfect desires and teachings of the Lord.
“My brothers and sisters, do not show favoritism as you hold on to the faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ. For if someone comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and dressed in fine clothes, and a poor person dressed in filthy clothes also comes in, if you look with favor on the one wearing the fine clothes and say, “Sit here in a good place,” and yet you say to the poor person, “Stand over there,” or “Sit here on the floor by my footstool,” haven’t you made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?” (James 2:1–4, CSB)
Lord, we pray you may open the eyes and soften the heart of those that have become blind to Your Truths, and have hardened their hearts; for we know, that as true believers, we are all Your children and equal in Your eyes. You died on the cross equally for us all, without favoritism, and because of your unbiased sacrifice and perfect love, Your grace is offed to all equally.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

PRAY FOR: Update on Jeff's friend Doug. Doug is having several challenges. Amongst the back injury and paralysis he is fighting sickness, pneumonia and other complications. Prayers are needed.
PRAISE! VICTOR is back home recovering from a heart attack. Continue to keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Pray for the family.

PRAY FOR: Keep Rick in your prayers.
PRAY FOR ERIC: Update from Eric - I appreciate all of the prayers. Please reach out and thank those that are praying if possible. I am looking forward to the day I can look back and this can be a story of something I struggled through and maybe help someone that may be going through it. Today they did the Broncoscopy an d took some biopsies of the lymph nodes and lung tissue and hopefully they find some answers there. I should know something in 3 days. I am going to reach out to a Dermatologist tomorrow to see if they can do a biopsy of my skin as a few bumps are developing there and my back constantly feels like I have a sunburn. Sarcoid commonly shows in the lungs and skin. All of the doctors keep asking me if I smoked. Nope, never smoked. I have 5 weeks of disability remaining and as tiring as it is I am trying to go full throttle in getting what I can, scheduled. Hopefully things that not too intrusive. That's where I am right now. My eyes are next on the checklist to get looked at.
PRAY FOR: Please keep Fred, Debbie and the medical team in your prayers.
PRAY FOR: Today (Oct. 3) Claudia, was released from the hospital and is at home resting. While this is great news and I give thanks and praise to the Lord, we still are not much closer to finding out the cause of her stroke-like episodes. May we continue to pray the doctors will find wisdom and guidance in finding the cause and treatment.

•Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Trust the Fullness Jesus Christ!
•Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”
•Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”
•Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him Who they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
•Romans 10:17 “So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”
•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

Dr. William Perry is a prolific writer of outstanding books. His titles for Newburgh Press thus far are Christians Helping Christians, Christian Counseling for the 21st Century and Theology for the 21st Century. Each book is a must for every reader of solid Christian material.
I am happy to endorse Dr. Perry’s latest treasure, “A Journey Through The Gospels.” Every student and preacher/teacher of the Bible needs this book for the desk or the bedside table. You will enjoy reading insights and valuable lessons that many casual readers of the Bible will miss.
While this book is not lengthy you will find a delightful study of each gospel that will make you appreciate the wonderful gospel stories and love Jesus even more.

I once taught a group of teenagers at church on the 10 commandments topic. They were very prone to saying "oh my god" so I had to tell them that was a no no unless they meant it as a prayer.
ReplyDeleteA much better Monday- I looked at the church setting, and the message was, is a strong one. You may get a phone call on this one from some unintended women.
ReplyDeleteKeep preaching the TRUTH, we all need it.

PB, everyday I need Him.... more as I grow older than I ever could have imagined. Some days I see people looking for another spirit to pursue - and they just cannot see the simplicity of the Gospel ... they fail to see the changes God has called for. Psalm 55:19.
So spot on about the home order is all but destroyed of natural affections. Men and Women need to take their rightful place before God.
Thank You for the good Word PB
