Frankie went home to be with the Lord today, we will miss her very much.  Please keep her husband, Ric, and their family in your prayers.

WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH:

What do you expect from the preaching?

• If you expect to come away with intellectual insights, you will find something to satisfy that desire.
• If you expect the preacher to say something debatable, you can be sure he will.
• If you are here to judge the quality of the message, you will surly find something he said wrong, or, that he could have said differently, count on it.
• If you expect to find a to-do-list for moral improvement, you will find ample opportunity for behavior modification, to try harder and do better.

But of course…
If you expect a life transformation experience, you will discover the spirit exposing sin and fostering greater desire for repentance.

If you expect to hear teaching on how to become more like Jesus, you will be granted fresh eyes of faith to behold The Lord.

If you expect to be used in the service of the Kingdom of God, you will find the Word empowering, enabling you to bear fruit disproportionate to your abilities.

If you expect to meet God on His terms, you will find God will not pass by without glimpses of His glory and grace.

The better question is…
What should you be expecting of yourself, each time you come under the authority and power of Almighty God’s living and active, faith-engendering, sin-exposing, Christ-exalting, Gospel-centered Word? The answer must be your answer!! You may be surprised. What is your answer?

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS

PRAY FOR: Sandy East;  Registrar at Newburgh Seminary- She has had a tragedy in her family and needs our prayer.

PRAISE THE LORD!  WE NOW HAVE A NEW ROOF ON THE CHURCH!

PRAY FOR:  Todd as he deals with a number of personal issues.

PRAY FOR: Eric's, MRI, a little swelling behind his left ear- which he will have checked out.

PRAY FOR: Please keep Fred, Debbie and the medical team in your prayers. 

PRAISE FOR: Pastor John, up in North Dakota who is recovering very well from Spine Fusion.

PRAY FOR: Doug and Claudia Beeks as they deal with many issues.

PRAY FOR: Gabe Mendez who has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Gabe is 39 years, and has recently married. 

PRAY FOR: Phyllis, for her health 

PRAY FOR: Virginia Perry who is 84 and loosing her sight.

PRAY FOR: Barb Ruesch, who is dealing with cancer. Our dear friend Barb is the wife of our friend and CCRM Lead Chaplain Bob Ruesch.  

PRAY FOR: The many in and around Valley Farms who are trapped in the ungodly cult of Mormonism and have turned their back on the true Jesus, and there-fore are not saved, and are on their way to HELL! 

PRAY FOR:  OUR PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT.  

PRAY THAT: All who claim to  know Jesus as Lord and Savior would start to live as if He is Real in their lives, and  will be willing to pay the one debt we all owe for our Salvation; that is the debt of LOVE to the Lord Jesus (Romans 13:8)! 

PRAY FOR HUMILITY: As Pastor Bill teaches God's Word (1 Timothy 2:2).  Also that the congregation would encourage him, and continue to love and encourage one another ( John 13:34).

PRAY FOR: Our Church to BOLDLY continue Teaching the truth of God's Word Without Compromise until the end.

SALVATION:  Not only to Eternity in Heaven, but from Eternity in Hell!  You MUST, first of all:  Admit You Are a Sinner in Need of a Savior:

•James 2:10 “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles on one (point), he has become guilty of all.”

•Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

•Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Accept God’s Love through the/Sacrifice in His Son Jesus

•Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Turn to God in Repentance

•Acts 20:21 “I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”

Trust the Fullness Jesus Christ!

•Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as  Lord,  and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”

•Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”

•Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him Who they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?

•Romans 10:17 “So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”

•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

It may not be easy to give up your old sinful ways, and turn in faith to Jesus Christ; but it is the only way to  SALVATION,  AND IT IS WORTH IT! 

 CALL UPON (THE FULLNESS OF) THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!
