PASTORS STRUGGLE WITH LONELINESS
Years of comprehensive research in this area,  has found, concerning church pastors,  that  pastors often experience difficulty when making friends, two-thirds say they are happy with their friendships, rating their satisfaction in the friend department as either excellent (34%) or good (33%). However, there are some areas of concern. No doubt, because of the nature of their work—which can serve to set them apart from those they minister to, and even from their peers—pastors are more likely than the general population to feel lonely and to isolate themselves from others. In addition to this, only one-third of pastors express the strongest level of satisfaction with their friendships, with around one in three indicating comparatively low satisfaction in this area—on par with or only slightly better than U.S. adults overall (28% excellent, 33% good). Overall, intimacy with friends appears to be a challenge not only for the average American adult but, as well, for spiritual leaders, despite their relationally driven vocation.

IS THERE A BIBLICAL PRESCRIPTION TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN? YES! ONE AND ONLY ONE. THE ANSWER IS: TURN BACK TO THE LORD GOD-TO FAITH-FAMILY!

• When a child is reached for Christ, 3.5% of the family will follow.

• When a mother is reached for Christ, 17% of her family will follow.

• When a father is reached for Christ, 93% of his family will follow.  (Per the Heritage Foundation)

• THE LORD S CALLING FAITHFUL MEN TO LEAD THEIR FAMILIES!

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS

PRAY FOR: Kathy as the doctor has requested a second blood test. (She has an appointment on Thursday!)

PRAY FOR: The future of the Community Christian Church, as we move to the end of 2018 and into 2019. With so little help how can we survive? 

PRAY FOR: Scott who broke his arm. We are Praying for his and his family's salvation.

PRAY FOR: Claudia Beeks is doing better each day.  She has a doctor appointment to do more tests, but she's been feeling better.  Thanks for the prayers. 

PRAY FOR: Unwise Christians who make important decisions without seeking the advice of their Pastor.

PRAY FOR: Wayne Beeks. (Father of Dr. Doug Beeks)

PRAY FOR: The family of Michelle Perry, . 

CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR: Chum and Callie in Michigan. We got some good news from Callie this week concerning Chum.  The spinal tap did not show cancer in the Spinal Fluid.  They are not sure what has caused him to get so weak and so fast, but this is good news.  Please continue to pray that the PT and OT will help get him strong enough to be able to stand and walk.  Keep the prayers coming and thank God for this good news.  Chum and Callie thank all of you for your continued prayers. PRAISE! No cancer found in the spinal fluid! 

PRAY FOR PASTOR BILL: For direction into the future!

PRAY: For Fred & Debbie.

PRAY: We would always keep the pulpit of the Community Christian Church Sacred and free from the Secular/Profane.

PRAY/ PRAISE: For Todd, as he has decided, without the counsel of, or seeking the advice from Pastor Bill, to discontinue his studies in the Master of Divinity program at Seminary. Give him wisdom Lord!

PRAY FOR: The many in and around Valley Farms who are trapped in the ungodly cult of Mormonism and have turned their back on the true Jesus, and there-fore are not saved, and are on their way to HELL! 

PRAY FOR:  OUR PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT,  as they make their pick of a SUPREME COURT JUSTICE!  A very important decision for the nation!  

PRAY THAT: All who claim to  know Jesus as Lord and Savior would start to live as if He is Real in their lives, and  will be willing to pay the one debt we owe for our Salvation; that is the debt of LOVE (Romans 13:8)! 

PRAY FOR HUMILITY: As Pastor Bill teaches God's Word (1 Timothy 2:2).  Also that the congregation would encourage him, and continue to love and encourage one another ( John 13:34).

PRAY FOR: Our Church to BOLDLY continue Teaching God's Word Without Compromise until the end.

SALVATION:  Not only to Eternity in Heaven, but from Eternity in Hell!  You MUST, first of all:  Admit You Are a Sinner in Need of a Savior:

•James 2:10 “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles on one (point), he has become guilty of all.”

•Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

•Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Accept God’s Love through the/Sacrifice in His Son Jesus

•Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Turn to God in Repentance

•Acts 20:21 “I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”

Trust the Fullness Jesus Christ!

•Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as  Lord,  and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”

•Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”

•Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him Who they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?

•Romans 10:17 “So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”

•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

It may not be easy to give up your old sinful ways, and turn in faith to Jesus Christ; but it is the only way to  SALVATION,  AND IT IS WORTH IT! 

 CALL UPON (THE FULLNESS OF) THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!
