January 24

MAY WE OPEN OUR EARS AND HEAR THE WONDERFUL WORDS OF ALMIGHTY GOD!  JESUS SAID; “WHERE TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED IN MY NAME (MATTHEW 18:20) THERE I AM WITH THEM.” I BELIEVE I AM STANDING IN  GREAT COMPANY,  AS I MAKE THIS COMMITMENT TO YOU BEFORE THE ONE (JESUS) WHO CALLED ME; AS LONG AS TWO OR MORE ARE HERE STANDING FIRMLY WITH ME, SEEKING TO KNOW THE TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD, AND THAT WORD BEING TAUGHT WITHOUT COMPROMISE, THROUGH HIS POWER, I WILL BE HERE.  Pastor Bill

Our son Eric (Foreground) wants to thank you for your prayers regarding his recent heart attack.

Thanks so much for your prayers. God is good. Everything has been going well up through this point. Within an hour of entering the ER, I was shipped down to the cath lab , they removed the blockage (blood clots) and I was sent up to the ICU to be monitored. Being that it was caught so quickly there looks to be no artery wall damage and my heart is still strong. The next step of preventing it from happening again is now what the Doctors are trying to determine. I am assuming blood thinners will be the major player here. Thanks for everything

Eric:  Heart Attack  
Amber:  In need of prayer.  Improving but still in serious condition in Phoenix.
Julie:  Praise.  Home doing much better.
Todd:  Prayers for his general health.
Lilliana:  3 years old.  Diagnosis Medulloblastoma-Grade 4.  In need of much prayer.
Michele:  Praise.  Lungs are clear, working on getting rid of the side effects from the Radiation, Chemo, and Steroids.
Marilyn:  Getting stronger.  Needs prayer as she will be seeing a specialist about a liver transplant.
Marie:  Prayer for her knees.
Linda:  Prayer for coronary artery disease.
Bobbie:  Facing Chemo, in need of prayer.
Thanks for your prayers for the annual meeting.  All went well.  Praise the Lord.
Prayer for Pastor Bill as he teaches God's Word.  That the congregation would be supportive continuing to encourage one another.

Annual Church Business Meeting

Pastor Bill, Chairman of the Board of Community Christian Church, Inc., opened the meeting.

Todd opened with Prayer.

A total of eleven attended the meeting lasting an hour.  Pastor Bill spoke about the past year's history and the financial statement.

What a blessing it is to Serve the Lord while Serving here.

Thank you for your service to the Commander in Chief--Jesus Christ.

    Hello there. Wonderful Service today! I was happy to see that you plan to
    stay as our Pastor in 2016. The food Fellowship was Great too.
    I am sending you the picture I took on my cell, I wish it had been taken
    with a good camera, but I'm proud to have this picture of you.
    The periodical was awesome too. Thank You for all the credit You gave us at
    Church today. It is a blessing for us to do anything we can for our Lord.

    Oh, sweet lady- I will be pastor of the church as long as the church is a church, you can take that to the bank.

    As long as the Lord gives me life and breath to do, I will be pastor of the Community Christian Church, and as long as you attend, I will be your pastor, and Kathy will be your friend. I pray that will be a long long time.

    Yes, we loved the food and fellowship, it is wonderful to have the time to just talk, and enjoy one another.

    The Lord is good.

    We both love you and Ric, and appreciate you both very much.

    Thank you for the update on your son. We’re happy to hear that he is doing well. I appreciate the prayer list update as prayer is so important. You are in our thoughts. All is well here. So far our Iowa winter hasn’t been too bad. I have cancelled class only once so far due to ice and snow. My heart goes out to those on the east coast.

    Yes, I do remember there were some well known college professors who were encouraging these clueless young people to demonstrate- what a sad indictment on the educators.

    Hi PB, I got the teaching! Thank You and even though the A/C came on, the sound was much better - that sock helped bunches.
    Love: A choice you make for some one else's benefit. Jesus as our ultimate example..... makes sense: God is Love 1 John 4:8.
    The results of the lost fear of God has been the abundance of false teaching ..... You sure gave us an abundance of examples there.
    Since evolution takes millions of years.... it is a good thing that we believe in Creation.
