HAPPY THANKSGIVING THIS THURSDAY!
May we thank the Lord every moment of every day for his bountiful blessings.

Here is a news flash from our friends, Tim and Jeannette Joyner, who are missionaries in Entebbe, Uganda working with Open Door Baptist Missions.
They state, “We were grieved to hear of the 28 executed by Al Shabaab in Mandera, Kenya this weekend. The bus was hijacked and they were asked to recite the Islamic prayer “shaada” All that were killed were non-muslims, made to lie down in a row and shot in the back of the head.”
Needless to say, Kathy and I are very concerned to learn, first hand, that these atrocities are taking place. We should ALL be in prayer regarding, not only the happenings in Kenya, for our missionaries around the world, but also, for our safety and security here in the USA, where our borders go unprotected. We are reminded in, (Psalms 127:1 NKJV) “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vane who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city (or our borders), the watch-man stays awake in vane.”

Left Minnesota in the eve. Arrived to Escanaba, Mi 1 mile from destination when God took her home......husband and baby Katie walked away without a scratch.

ReplyDeleteI just got through watching today's Sermon online. I enjoyed it as always but, I would rather have been in Church.
Thank you so very much for the prayers on my behalf at Church this morning. The Sermon was great today !
I appreciate and admire the work both of you are doing at the Valley Farms Church.
I am feeling much better tonight and I give God the praise and thank him for his goodness to me.
Thank you again for your Prayers,
Hi,
ReplyDeleteWe wish you both a "HAPPY THANKSGIVING" . Are you going anywhere?
We have had a lot of snow, then it all melted, now we have snow again, and next week it is going to
be 50, so it will all melt again. Which is alright with me.
We are leaving to go to our daughter's in VA. She will be having surgery on her back, 6 hrs surg., also we need to pray that her heart will handle it. We just know everything will go great because God has a hand in it and all
the prayers will be sent up for her. All our prayers will help.
Thank you.
God Bless you both.
P.S. We are going to look for your books.
Wishing you and Kathy a very blessed Thanksgiving!
