2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

    Kathy and Bill,

    Thanks for praying for Tim.

Tim enjoys Civil War History also and has been to a re-inactment also once in N.C. while we were on Furlough. We've been on the Mission Field so long we are not used to all these extra activities to go to like there in the states...the US Air Force Band sounds like it would be good to hear. The only summer we were stateside--'99, we went to hear the "New John Philip Souza Band" at the University. That was the last time I had heard the National Anthem--they had a VERY, VERY large US Flag across the front of the choir loft (easily 20'x50')...it was very special. As usual, I can't sing at those times--just tear up and stand in awe & wonder. I do that every time we go home on furlough and hear the music in our home church...people don't realize how blessed they are!!

Thanks for keeping in touch. LORD BLESS!!

    In Christian Love,
