Men Prepare Sermons; God Prepares Men

2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

Thank you for taking the time to view our blog;we look forward to reading your comments. DVDs of our services are available upon request. We covet your prayers and friendship. In His Service and For His Glory, Pastor Bill & Kathy ...
"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

Kathy was privileged to sing in the Seminary Choir.  We enjoyed a wonderful delicious banquet.

Greenup, Kentucky

WarMem
We met with our son, Eric, and enjoyed the War Memorial erected by Greenup County Kentucky.
GreenupPark   Church
Greenup, KY is where Pastor Bill’s grandfather served as a Circuit Riding Preacher in the early 1900’s.  We attended this Methodist Church where he likely preached from time to time when he was home off the circuit.  Eric and I are pictured here at the Greenup, KY park along the Ohio River.  Across the river is Portsmouth, OH.  (Roy Rogers was from Portsmouth.)

We miss you all at Ho Ho Kam and look forward to seeing you all next Sunday, June 10th.  Please keep us in your prayers as we travel and you can be sure that we are praying for you.

We now have video and audio files of our worship services posted to the Internet.

Continue to pray for us as we seek to serve the Lord here in the desert.

  8. Even the pictures of the storms point out the wonder and awesomeness of God who created all things. I personally LOVE storms! we are having one right now... I like hearing the thunder, am amazed at the lighting, but prefer being inside when it is happening... and rain? love the feel of the air as it freshens up everything, especially after a HOT day!

May you feel God’s awesome presence as he embraces you today with his love... God Bless you my friends.. Blanche
