Men Prepare Sermons; God Prepares Men

2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

Thank you for taking the time to view our blog;we look forward to reading your comments. DVDs of our services are available upon request. We covet your prayers and friendship. In His Service and For His Glory, Pastor Bill & Kathy ...
"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

April 24

 HAPPY EASTER!

Mark 16:6 “’Don’t be alarmed’, he said.  ‘You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified.  He has risen!  He is not here.  See the place where they laid him.’”

A TIME OF FELLOWSHIP

Pete and Nadine hosted a meal at their home in the Ho Ho Kam Village to fellowship with those who are still in the RV Resort.  Chaplain Bill was asked to give an invocation and a blessing on the food.  The numbers in the park continue to dwindle.  Many at the party will be leaving before the end of the week.  It was a good time of refreshing fellowship.

Nadine, one of the residents of the park, volunteered to play the piano for the worship service.

Easter Dinner in the Clubhouse

An Easter Bonnet “HATS” competition parade was held where the ladies and gentlemen could show off their top pieces.  It was lots of fun.

This was followed by the blessing of the food by Chaplain Bill and a delicious meal.

On Palm Sunday Chaplain Bill came down with a bad case of Shingles.  At times he was almost totally incapacitated but praise the Lord he seems to be on the mend thanks to the many prayers from each of you.

“SIGN OF THE TIMES”
The gas prices are rising, the presidential races are heating up, and there’s trouble in the Middle East, but none of that concerns me because I got money back on my tax returns.”

Continue to pray for us as we seek to serve the Lord here in the desert.
