Christmas at the Hope Center- Pastor Bill asks The Lord’s blessings on the service!

We are PRAISING THE LORD for the “Hungry and Thirsty” ladies who came with open hearts and minds, as they listened to the Word of God proclaimed. As they later shopped for family items with their “points” accumulated by attending a class or work shop at the center.

PASTOR BILL ENCOURAGES WITH THE WORD OF GOD, OF THE FAITH AND COURAGE OF A YOUNG  TEENAGER, OF 2,000 YEARS AGO!

This was followed by a time of singing, enjoying a meal together, catered by the local Church of the Nazarene.   THANK YOU ALL and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THE WORD—”CHRISTIMAS”?

Christmas is made up of two distinct words, taken from the Latin words, “Cristes, and Maesse”, or, “CHRIST and MAS”.

CHRIST is referring to the LORD JESUS THE CHRIST.

The word MAS is indicating a message of GOOD NEWS, or, His Redemptive Death for the Sins of Mankind. “THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS THE CHRIST.” Hence, the true meaning of CHRISTMAS is THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS CHRIST.  No other meaning will suffice!
