Responsibility/Authority of the Pastor
As the Elder/Pastor of this church, as the one called
by God to oversee His Church in Valley Farms, it is my responsibility to see that God’s
Word is taught without compromise.
God saves people only through the preaching of His Word, therefore... “How can they hear without a preacher?” – Romans 10:14

IS THERE A BIBLICAL PRESCRIPTION TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN? YES! ONE AND ONLY ONE. IT'S FOUND IN 2nd CHRONICLES 7:14; "IF MY PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED BY MY NAME WILL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SINS AND HEAL THEIR LAND."
THE ANSWER IS: TURN BACK TO THE LORD GOD-TO FAITH-FAMILY!

COMMENT FROM AN INTERNET CONTRIBUTOR: "HEY PASTOR BILL, YOU SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE AN AGENDA WHEN YOU PREACH!"
YOU BET I DO! (BUT ONLY ONE!) To teach the Truth! To teach that all roads do not lead to Heaven. Only the narrow road, that leads to repentance! Through Obedience to following Jesus Christ as Lord. All other roads lead to hell and destruction (John 8:32).

BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!
As a pastor, as a minister of God, I am required by Him to believe, to teach, to preach that every Word in the Bible is true, not just what I may want to be true; but every word; without compromise!

John 20:1-18
I would like to encourage you to think of the
Resurrection morning. I would like for you to just let your minds go and just
imagine that it is not quite daylight yet, and maybe even a light mist hanging
over the country side just outside of Jerusalem, and now we get a glimpse of
three women full of sorrow, and pain.
These three ladies are; Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James,
and another woman by the name of Salome. As
they start for the tomb they are being followed by other women with their arms
loaded with spices and cloths. They walk
in sadness, you can see they are on a mission.
They are heading to the tomb where Jesus had been buried that previous
Friday, just before the Sabbath. Now
they are wanting to prepare His body more completely for burial, as the custom
was in that day. So, they come to the
tomb, and, what is this! They find the
tomb empty. They stare in disbelief, as
they find that the stone that had covered the entrance way has been rolled away
from the mouth of the tomb. The tomb was
open. It’s about here that Mary Magdalene takes off in hast, to tell the
disciples. Meanwhile, Mary the mother of
James continues on toward the tomb, and as she gets close to the tomb she sees
the angel of the Lord. When
Mary returns to tell the disciples what she saw, she finds the disciples, who,
had been disappointed, and hurt. They were tired and felt betrayed. We should not be surprised by this, because
we know that in every death there is a loss, and with loss, always brings with
it pain. We should know that the pain
caused by any death is in fact the price we pay for loving someone. We
have all lost loved ones. We know what
that loss feels like; we know. In this
world, death comes to the ones we love and others we know. Death comes to each one of us. Death is very ugly, and it can be dreadfully
painful; it hurts. Now,
it’s about here that we need a little good news, and I just happen to have
some. It’s wonderful news! The news is, the death of Jesus was
interrupted by a resurrection. That is
GOOD NEWS! Jesus came back on that third
day and He presented Himself alive to the disciples. So they, and we also, would know for a fact
that He had abolished death. Romans 6:9
says, “For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die
again; death no longer has mastery over Him.”
“He is not here, He is risen!!”
He is ALIVE! Jesus abolished
death by winning the victory over it, not just for Him, but for us also. Jesus abolished death, and made death
thoroughly inactive. What
does this mean for us today that Jesus abolished death? It means “because He lives, we who know Him as
Lord and Savior will live also. It means death no longer has a hold over us,
and praise God, He is risen! He’s
Alive!! Because He lives, we shall live!! AMEN’

They will follow-up with x-rays for the next few months, then he will have a CT Scan of the chest and MRI of the brain in another couple of months. Right now he is stable. Still trying to get his strength back from the chemo, etc., but he's doing ok. Thank God.
PRAY: Michele was doing great, but now she just found out that the cancer has spread to the other side of the brain. She will be going in for full brain radiation. She's already had five brain surgeries. So she needs more prayers. We haven't stopped praying, but now she needs extra prayer.

PRAY: We would keep the pulpit of the Community Christian Church Sacred and free from the Profane.
PRAY FOR: Pastor Bill and the Leadership team of the Community Christian Church of Valley Farms to maintain a Separation between the Profane ( the Secular) and the Pure (the Spiritual) ; between the Holy and the Unholy; protecting the Sanctity and Purity of the Pulpit as the place where the TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD is PROCLAIMED!

PRAY THAT: All who are attending the Community Christian Church, as well as all who have ever attended- The Lord Jesus knows who you are, and He knows your needs. SALVATION; Not only to Eternity in Heaven, but From Eternity in Hell! You MUST, first of all; Admit You Are a Sinner in Need of a Savior:
•James 2:10 “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles on one (point), he has become guilty of all.”
•Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
•Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Accept God’s Love through the/Sacrifice in His Son Jesus
•Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Turn to God in Repentance
•Acts 20:21 “I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.”
Trust the Fullness Jesus Christ!
•Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”
•Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”
•Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him Who they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
•Romans 10:17 “So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”
•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”
It may not be easy to give up your old sinful ways, and turn in faith to Jesus Christ; but it is the only way to SALVATION, AND IT IS WORTH IT!
CALL UPON (THE FULLNESS OF) THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU WILL BE SAVED!

Look for Pastor Bill's latest book
Dr. William Perry is a prolific writer of outstanding books. His titles for Newburgh Press thus far are Christians Helping Christians, Christian Counseling for the 21st Century and Theology for the 21st Century. Each book is a must for every reader of solid Christian material.
I am happy to endorse Dr. Perry’s latest treasure, “A Journey Through The Gospels.” Every student and preacher/teacher of the Bible needs this book for the desk or the bedside table. You will enjoy reading insights and valuable lessons that many casual readers of the Bible will miss.
While this book is not lengthy you will find a delightful study of each gospel that will make you appreciate the wonderful gospel stories and love Jesus even more.
