PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS

Pray for Chum:   Update from Callie.  "We went in for Chum's appointment for radiology/oncology.  We got bad news.  Chum has multiple tumors in his brain, 20 plus.  He starts full brain radiation Tuesday for 10 days, then he will start chemo after that.  Please continue your prayers.

Pray for Michele:  Michele is feeling better, probably getting out of the hospital on Sunday.

My brother Chuck went home to be with the Lord on Friday.

Marie Etling who was battling cancer went home to be with the Lord this week..

Pray & Praise for 14 year old Hope:  Thank you for your prayers for Hope!!  God is answering!  Last week Hope we received the following praises!  She is doing GREAT with her walking!  What a THRILL to watch her!  She is working hard and is VERY motivated!  She is starting some pool therapy this week to help loosen and strengthen her ankles, feet, and overall range of motion.  She is able to go up and down stairs now.  She is making great progress and loves being back with all her friends at school.  She is doing well academically, also.  Her parents are so thankful for all those who are helping to make this possible!  Their hearts are overflowing with thankfulness to the Lord for the great work that He is doing in her life!

Pray for: The many in and around Valley Farms who do not know the Lord as their Lord and Savior,

Pray for Our son Eric: Eric sent us this update concerning his Papilledema, intracranial pressure.  Thursday morning I had my 2nd Lumbar puncture (spinal tap) which took roughly 2 and 1/2 hours from the time we got inuntil we got out.  The goal was to check the pressure of the cerebral fluid.  The thing to remember was the doctor told me. "It looks like the pressure is normal"...  I asked him what the measurement was and he said 32.5.  (I had no idea what that meant)...anyway ...I went to my newly scheduled appointment with my Neurol-ophthalmologist later in the day.  I found that "32.5 IS NOT NORMAL".  This it is high.  It seems that 6 - 20 is a typical reading for normal.  She wrote me a prescription for some medication.  I was furioius when she told me it was high---not with her---but the doctor that told me it was normal.  I just wonder how my conditions would have been if I was put on the medicine 5 months ago.  She is saying that I may have had the Papilledema for awhile and my vision may not be fully corrected.  (possibly, but she is not too optimistic)  She wants me to see a surgical doctor to discuss surgery options if the vision does not come back.   I think we are going in the right direction now.  Thanks so much for the continued prayers.

Pray for: The many in our families and in our community who are caught up in the cult of Mormonism. Pray their eyes would be opened to the truth of the True Christ. That Christians would see the area in and around Valley Farms as a wide open MISSION FIELD.

PRAY: The Church would not give in to the pressure from the world for Spiritual Correctness, (that is, not confronting the make-believer who claims to be believers), yet they continue in their disobedience, as if the Lord has given them a License to Sin! HE HAS NOT! (1 John 2:19). Pray that the Church would be Strong,  yet compassionate in their confrontation.

Pray for:  OUR PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT,  THEY NEED OUR PRAYERS!!  

Pray that: All who are attending the Community Christian Church, as well as all who have ever attended- The Lord Jesus knows who you are, and He knows your needs. We pray that He will meet your every need. If your need is Salvation, and you have not yet accepted the Lord's invitation to join His family of believers by being born again, I pray that today will be the day you make that decision..

Pray that: All who know Jesus as Lord and Savior would start to live as if they do, and  will be willing to pay the one debt we owe for our Salvation; that is the debt of LOVE (Romans 13:8)! 

Pray: That all men who are called into the pastorate would know the need to study to gain advanced Training into a deeper and broader  understanding of the Holy Bible (2 Timothy 2:15)

Pray for: Pastor Bill as he teaches God's Word (1 Timothy 2:2). Also that the congregation would encourage him, and continue to love and encourage one another ( John 13:34).

•Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth Jesus as  Lord,  and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved;”

•Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the Name of the Lord shall be saved.”

•Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on Him Who they have not believed?  And how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?  And how shall they hear without a preacher?

•Romans 10:17 “So then Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”

•Jeremiah 29:13 “You will seek Me (God) and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

It may not be easy to give up your old sinful ways, and turn in faith to Jesus Christ; but it is the only way to  SALVATION,  AND IT IS WORTH IT!

PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAISE REPORTS

Pray for:  Chum and Michele.  Chum had an appointment to see if his cancer has spread or if it is anywhere else besides the lung. Praise the Lord it has not spread.  He has stage 4 cancer in his lung.   He had a Pet San and Ct of the brain last week.  Now they will set him up for treatment.  This is good news.  We need to also pray for Michele.  She has another brain tumor that they will be operating on May 24th.  They feel they can get it all this time, but it will most likely leave her blind.  Prayers that she will still have some vision when they are done.  A lot of prayers are needed for all.

Pray for: My brother Chuck is home from the hospital battling cancer.

Pray for:  Marie Etling who is battling cancer.

Pray for Our son Eric:  Eric went to the neuro-opthemologist and they re-stated that he has papladema.  They wrote some scripts for 2 MRI's.  One for the sinuses in the brain area and another brain MRI.  After those 2 MRI's, she had suggested another spinal tap.  He was also to see an ENT for ringing in the ears which may be due to the optic nerve issue.  He was also to have an auditory exam to check his ears.  This week he has another appointment for a second opinion with a different Neurologist.  Please keep him in your prayers.
