CHRISTIAN CONCERT - AT VALLEY FARMS

 

Assistant Pastor Todd Ovitt opened the concert to a very enthusiastic group, with, “There is Power in the Blood”.

Todd is joined by Brian on drums, Donna  (Todd’s mom) on bass, and Russ on lead guitar.

Kathy on keyboard along with Pastor Bill.

“God must be a cowboy at heart”

Bob, Donna, Kris on bass, Virginia on lead guitar, James on drums

perform a medley of songs of faith.

Terry & David with James on drums…

close out the concert with a medley of country gospel songs, and leading the finale with “I’ll Fly Away”.

A great time of Song, Praise and Christ centered fellowship was had by all.

THE CHRISTIAN CONCERT SATURDAY…

…Opened with Todd, Russ, Donna, and Brian performing a medley of Christian songs…

…and was very well receive.

 

The concert continued on for over an hour and a half of continuous praise and honor to God.

ARE WE SURPRISED?

Why does Barack Obama continue to call the terrorist group ISIS……ISIL? ISIS stands for “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. ISIL stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant. Now, to us Westerners we don’t really make much of a distinction, do we? No, honestly from our perspective its all about the same. But how would a Muslim living in the Middle East view it? Just what is the Levant anyway? Let’s take a look. The geographical term LEVANT refers to a multi-nation region in the Middle East. It’s a land bridge between Turkey to the north and Egypt to the south. If you look on a map, however, in the middle of the nations that comprise the Levant, guess what you see? Come on, guess! It’s Israel. When anyone refers  to the Islamic State as ISIL, they are sending a message to Muslims all over the Middle East that they personally do not recognize Israel as a sovereign nation, but as a territory belonging to the Islamic State. Now you know why the Administration says there is no plan, no goal, and no stated aim for dealing with ISIS.  But they do have a plan, and it’s not really all that nice. The plan seems to be, to drag their feet, doing only the bare minimum that Congress forces them to do. To buy ISIS as much time as possible to make as many gains as they can. It seems that the ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel. Now you know a little bit more why words are chosen  so carefully, and what’s really behind the name ISIL.

9/11  THIRTEEN YEARS AGO!

A DAY THAT WILL GO DOWN IN INFAMY- A DAY THAT CHANGED OUR LIVES FOREVER- MAY WE ALWAYS REMEMBER! AND…

   

Where were you on this day that will forever live in infamy in the hearts and minds of Americans?  We would be very interested in knowing your thoughts.

I (Pastor Bill) was on my way to church when I heard the news on the car radio.  I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

I (Kathy) was teaching school when a person from the school office came to the classroom door to tell me what was going on.  I wanted to sink to the floor.
