Men Prepare Sermons; God Prepares Men

2nd Timothy 2:15

"The proper place for a ship to be is in the water, but if the water gets into the ship, the ship will sink. The proper place for the church is in the world,

BUT IF THE 'WORLD' GETS INTO THE CHURCH,

THE CHURCH WILL GO DOWN IN DISGRACE!"

Thank you for taking the time to view our blog;we look forward to reading your comments. DVDs of our services are available upon request. We covet your prayers and friendship. In His Service and For His Glory, Pastor Bill & Kathy ...
"Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness...But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."-Joshua 24:14-15

Is God Calling You to be a Pastor?

The right kind of education is essential to the man who has answered God's call. No army dare send a soldier into battle without proper training. The results would be devastating, not only for the warrior, but for the war.

Chamber Meeting

102_3084  102_3086
A very nice lunch as we attended the March meeting of the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce.
102_3090
Our speaker was Bryan Martyn, District 2 Pinal County Supervisor. Mr. Martyn painted a pretty optimistic picture of the future of Pinal County.

Well Worth Your Time....

We need more people in Washington that think and speak like this guy!  We just may be hearing more from him in the future

An Irish Blessing

(As Received from Chaplain Bob Ruesch)
May the blessing of light be upon you,
Light on the outside,
Light on the inside.
With God's sunlight shining on you,
May your heart glow with warmth,
Like a turf fire that welcomes friends and strangers alike.

May the Light of the Lord shine from your eyes,
Like a candle in the window, welcoming the weary traveler.

May the Blessing of God's soft rain be on you,
Falling gently on your head,
Refreshing your soul with the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming.

May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you,
Carrying the rain to wash your Spirit clean,
Sparkling after in the sunlight.

May the Blessing of God's earth be on you,
And as you walk the roads,
May you always have a kind word for those you meet.

May you understand the strength and power of God in a thunderstorm and in winter,
And the quiet beauty of creation, and the calm of a summer sunset.

And may you come to realize that insignificant as you may seem
in this great universe,
You are an important part of God's plan.
May He watch over you, and keep you safe from harm...

Patio Picnic

It feels good to be able to have a picnic on the patio in shirt sleeves the 1st of March.
“I LOVE YOU ARIZONA!”

It was our honor and privilege to be asked to perform the wedding ceremony for Steve and Jenny for their affirmation of love before the Lord Jesus Christ and a company of witnesses.

We were so blessed to be a part of their life now and forever.  May your lives be richly blessed as you yield your hearts and lives to one another as to the Lord Jesus Christ.

A TRIP TO THE DESERT

102_3074102_3075
As spring comes in southern Arizona, it’s hard to stay out of the desert because the beauty is everywhere you look.  We enjoy taking long walks in the desert.  As we walk, we have long talks with each other and with the Lord.  The vastness and the complexity of His creation is such a blessing as we observe His handiwork.  The inspiration comes naturally.

GO FIGURE!

Isn't It Ironic? The food stamp program, which is part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever. Meanwhile, the  Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves. Go figure!!!!

PRESIDENT’S DAY FLAG RAISING

FlagCertificate  102_2443
On February 20, 2012 (President’s day) A Flag  that  had been flown over the United States Capitol at the request of the Honorable John McCain, was raised over HO HO KAM Community Village. The flag was Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ by the Community’s Chaplain, Pastor Bill Perry, as he prayed, “As You see this flag flying over Ho Ho Kam Oh Lord, I ask that You remember your promise, the day you called us to this ministry, that You will Bless this community of Ho Ho Kam, as they seeks to serve You, Amen”.  ( II Chronicles 7:14)

EXPLORING ARIZONA’S BORDER COUNTRY

102_2641  102_2644
We reserved a room at Stag Stop Inn and went exploring!
102_2678   Turkey
We traveled on roads that we didn’t even know existed and neither did the map makers.  We did come across a concerning sign, but the only thing we found was a flock of wild turkeys.
102_2689   102_2693
We found some beautiful ranches that were 10 to 12 miles off the paved road.  This is really cowboy country!
102_2811   102_2805
We came across an old cemetery which was very interesting.  We couldn’t help but stop and take some pictures and do a little exploring.
102_2800   102_2802

Very Interesting!

   102_2652    102_2654
Now it was time to return to the Stag Stop Inn as it appears that somebody is ready for a rest!
